Growth Journey

Every skill has a journey. The first time you notice it. The times it grows. The moment it's truly rooted. My Flowments shows that journey unfold over weeks and months — so you see not just what your child can do, but how far they came getting there. A child sounds out letters in January. Reads simple words by May. Is reading by November. The whole story, held in one place.

Why I built My Flowments

I've been creating art and craft tutorials for nearly 15 years. Teachers, parents, carers and families all over the world have used my ideas with their children. During lockdown, Arty Crafty Kids was featured on Sky Kids, and I've had the privilege of writing a craft book for kids too. Creativity and childhood have always been at the heart of everything I do.

And then my daughter needed major spinal surgery.

Home education became our reality. Not something I had planned, but something we stepped into together. We navigated her recovery, her anxiety, her exams, and everything in between. Later, I went on to home educate my younger two children as well. Each journey was different. Each one taught me something new about what it really means to learn.

I had systems in place. Folders, spreadsheets, logs. But honestly? They were a lot. Life was already a lot. And somewhere in all of it, the everyday moments kept slipping by — the afternoon something finally clicked, the conversation that stopped me in my tracks, the ordinary Tuesday that turned out to matter most.

I couldn't find anything that captured it the way it really felt. So I built it myself.

My Flowments is a journal, a memory keeper and a record of your home education journey all in one place. It's where the moments live. Where growth gets noticed. Where the whole picture of your child's learning comes together — ready whenever you need it.

For the education that happens everywhere

School measures the lesson. Home education is the whole day — the science at the kitchen table, the patience learned losing a game, the question asked on a walk. My Flowments captures all of it.

What makes My Flowments different

Built by a home educating parent, for home educating families. Every feature exists for a reason.

Flowments

A concept that exists nowhere else. Mark the moments that stop you — the breakthrough, the question, the ordinary afternoon that turned out to matter most. Your Flowments become the heart of your family's story.

Reading Records with a child's own voice

Children can add their own thoughts and reflections to their reading record. What they loved, what surprised them, what they want to read next. Their words feed directly into their Growth Markers — noticing vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking and a love of reading.

Beautifully simple to use

My Flowments works as both an app and a website, so you can capture a moment wherever you are. Everything connects naturally — a journal entry notices growth, suggests support if needed, and builds your record as you go. It was designed to feel effortless, because your energy belongs with your children, not your admin.

AI that reads your photos

Add a photo of tutor feedback, a worksheet, a handwritten note or a piece of artwork, and My Flowments helps surface the learning inside it — so a photo can be a record all on its own.

Noticing the whole child

My Flowments notices what you might have missed. The courage in trying something new. The patience when something wasn't working. It puts words to the growth you felt but couldn't quite name, and quietly records it for you. Not graded. Not scored. Just the wow moments, captured before they slip by.

Support Plans

Spot a pattern. Create a simple action plan. Notice progress over time and evidence the shift when it happens. My Flowments turns a concern into a story of growth.

Annual Record generation

At the end of a term or year, one tap turns everything you have captured into a beautiful, readable document. Your journal, your growth markers, your resources — brought together into something you will be proud of.

Family Links

Share your child's journal with the people who love them. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends — a read-only window into the moments that matter. You choose exactly what they see.

Weekly and monthly highlights

Every week and month, My Flowments sends you a beautiful summary of your standout moments. The Flowments worth celebrating. The growth worth noticing. A quiet reminder of just how much is happening in your family's life — delivered to your inbox and always ready to look back on.
